'The HULAHUL TIMES,' an E-Newspaper, was launched by HULAHUL Foundation in September 2019 with the vision of 'Evolving Today, for a Better Tomorrow,' by keeping in mind the two main objectives of Foundation as Education and Environmental upliftment.
The main objective behind launching 'The HULAHUL TIMES,' is to enhance the Foundation's educational activities by engaging the students for knowledge upliftment and skill development in a more appropriate way so as to make them employable for different jobs without charging any fees.
The first edition of 'The HULAHUL Times' was published on Monday, September 2nd, 2019 in Mumbai. Initially it was a Biweekly E-Newspaper which had 5 pages in all, covering important days, current news, and a section youngistaan including quiz and spot the differences, etc. mainly to make
education a fun-filled, enjoyable learning and growing experience on the solid foundation of values and to provide youths an interactive platform as foundation’s targeted readers are the students.
With the enhancement of various activities by the foundation also during the Worldwide pandemic, The HULAHUL Times took its pace in circulation. The 1000s of participants, of different national level academic and cultural events such as 'Sahitya Ke Rang', 'Gyansampada- A Knowledge Quest',
'Talent Hunt', etc., are the prime members of The HULAHUL Times along with college and school students. The HULAHUL Times received recognition and tremendous support from readers nationally and internationally and; thus began its beautiful journey.
The HULAHUL Times Internship Program is a three-months internship under the guidance of experts during which interns have to work for 250 hours or more. On completion of the Internship Program, the interns receive an Internship Certificate and an Experience Letter and in addition,
a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) if required.
From the second year of publication i.e., year 2020 onwards, the paper is published on a weekly basis. So far, we have received over 185 applications for content writing internships at 'The HULAHUL Times,' and as of now 25 interns have completed their internships.
Because of the training and constant guidance from the editors, some interns are continuing their internship program even after completion of their 3 months internship. Till today 'The HULAHUL Times' has completed 7 Cohorts (3 months duration) with at least three interns in each Cohort.
'The HULAHUL Times' now has readers via email and subscribers from all over the country. It is also shared with others via Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
To achieve educational upliftment and to provide information, inculcation of values and ethics,
interpretation of facts and creative and reasoning ability amongst the citizens of the country.
